I'm currently studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology for my bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. I love learning, and I love solving challenging problems. I tend to look at math and physics as puzzles, and I enjoy figuring out every detail within a puzzle so that I can fully understand the concepts involved. I'm an experienced tutor, and able to judge how much a student knows quickly, allowing me to step in with guidance to explain anything along the way of the problem-solving process. I enjoy learning through analogies and real world applications of concepts, but each student may have their own methods they respond to best. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what this method is and then utilizing at to help students improve their learning. Once a student understands something, then it all boils down to practice. This is the best way to retain information and develop the ability to apply knowledge. When I work with students, my goal is not just to help them understand the topic at hand, but also to help them learn how to learn. Helping a student develop self-sufficiency in learning is the best way to set them up for success in the future.
