I tutor in math and physics. My goal is to give students confidence in subjects that often seem daunting. I like to find the source of a student's trouble. Maybe the class calls for a forgotten skill taught a few years ago. Maybe the a teacher's teaching style isn't compatible with the student's learning style. In any case, I enjoy helping students identify and overcome their roadblocks. I discovered my passion of tutoring during high school when I volunteered in a mentoring program middle school students. After that, I began helping students in my Physics class after school, per request of my teacher. I have tutored college students in math classes ranging from Geometry to upper-level Calculus. I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. I got into engineering because I enjoyed Math and Physics classes and wanted to learn about their real-world applications. I consider myself a life-long student; I am always eager to learn more. I am an avid guitarist, I play hockey and I am constantly searching for DIY projects.
