I've taken and passed every math class associated with a degree in teaching high school math as that was my original intent going into college. I'm very outgoing with an upbeat personality but am also very stern and serious when need be. I enjoy helping others help themselves. I've always been highly organized and found joy in helping others stay focused and on task. I've been babysitting all ages for over 15 years and have always assisted with homework and studying so tutoring is just a great fit for me. I work from home (in sales) by day so I typically create my own schedule, allowing me to be flexible with my other endeavors. I find great passion in working with numbers, they never lie, which is why I've always been so attracted to math. I believe in focusing on principles and the rules of math as learning that is half the battle... the other half is knowing "practice makes perfect." I'm also the type that pays great attention to detail so I emphasize the importance of "showing your work" when solving mathematical equations so both the student and teacher may see what went wrong and exactly where.
