o IT & Business Courses >>
Tutored/Taught over 72 courses related to Business Systems Development (SDLC), Decision Support Systems (AI & DSS) as well as Information Technology, as of 2012.
Conveyed principles of SDLC for project management from beginning to end. Developed and taught AI/DSS expert system concepts for providing practical solutions to real-world problems. Also taught real life applications focusing on Database & Business Intelligence Technologies such as Cognos, Oracle, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Java based JDBC type databases and programming software applications.
o Activities & Mentoring >>
Was responsible for facilitating online and on ground courses on a part-time basis while concurrently practicing in Companies and/or Government(s). Prepared instructional material for classes, and evaluated student performance by answering questions.
Mentored over 1000 students worldwide most of whom are working adults from Corporate America, the US Government/Department of Defence (DOD); Army, Air Force & Navy/Marines.
SUMMARY: Approved to teach undergraduate and graduate courses Online and Onground in areas of Science/Technology, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, SDLC, Business Systems Analysis, Development, Implementation, and Optimization. Instructed several classes and Supervised several projects related to IT and Business Systems using Database/Business Analysis & Business Intelligence Technologies such as Cognos, Oracle, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Java based JDBC type Databases and Programming Software Applications. Focused on competence development, online course content creation and mentoring. Awarded Outstanding Faculty/Professor award on many occasions. Also awarded Advanced Facilitator Certification in August 2011.
RATES: Although I have basically worked in multiple areas in Industry/Corporations and/or Government(s) for $75+/hour to $125+/hour on the lower side and over $5000+/hour on the higher sides, my hourly rates for teaching/tutoring work average around $45/hour-$90/hour for most average topics.
However, my tutoring rates are currently more are less negotiable on a case per case basis, depending on the level of advancement and simplicity or complexity of the topics.
Simple high school/college topics might cost less than $45/hour like $30/hour to $45/hour and Advanced College/Advanced University Topics or Advanced Analytical, Engineering, and Scientific/Technological topics might cost more than the $45/hour to $90/hour range.
Nevertheless, I am usually willing to work within the budget(s) of most students/candidates and sometimes even within the $30/hour to $45/hour range depending on my schedule and availability of spare time and other needs of students/candidates/prevalent circumstances.
HobbiesMy hobbies include playing tennis, swimming, flying, walking, reading and writing. I know/understand/read/write/speak several languages, to various extents: Some of them are, English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, French, German, and Sanskrit. I like honest people and enjoy traveling, food and drink, and occasional bar binges with some hot chicken wings! I get positively energized by positively enthusiastic crowds and lively and friendly people around me.
